clunking/ clicking sound coming from front end when wheel is turned
Hello ,
I had recently had my transmission repaired . After that I started hearing a clunking / clicking sound from the front end when I turn the wheel. They replaced the front axel but this didnt help.
I am not having any problems with the steering , I am just concerned something will fall off. The tranny place cant find anyhing loose . Please help .
I dont believe its the brakes as it makes the sound while not applying the brakes .
thanks

We've got the same problem with our 2000 Caravan. No problems with tranny or steering either. A mechanic friend of ours took a real quick look at it, and I mean real quick ! He said it's possible the sway bar bushing are bad, but wasn't sure. We still haven't gotten it fixed, spent too much money on getting other things fixed on it ! If you find out what it is for sure I'd love to know ! Tony
The fix was the sway bar bushings . When the tranny people put the sway bar back the failed to notice the bushings came off .
Better than new now ., Thanks for the help.
