Can anyone tell me how to access the tail light on my 05 GC? I need to change the bulb. Any help is greatly appreciated.

 

If it's the same as a 2006, there are a couple of plastic pins on the inboard side of each lens when you open the lifgate. Take a large flat blade screwdriver and carefully pry the inner pin up (inboard), then the whole fastener will come out. Once both of them are out, you can pivot the light out on the forward hooks. Just make sure that when you reinstall it, you get the front hooks in and don't bind anything. Hope that helps.
