1998 parking brake adjustment
1998 Plymouth Voyager 4 cylinder
I need to tighten my parking brake cable on my van. Where is the hex nut to adjust it? I have searched under the van and can't find it. I have tightened the back brakes and there was no change. The parking parking brake goes all the way down, but does not hold or even slow down the vehical. Thanks!

there is none !!! dodge uses a cheap poorly designed substitue for the classic ratchet we all grew to love. The idea was nice on the drawing board I'm sure; maybe even got some green engineer a bonus. I had mine replaced on my 88 and the brake lever assembly self destructed yesterday on my 98. MY QUESTION.....is there an aftermarket replacement available that works reliably ?????????
