2005 Caravan-Water on passenger side floor! Why?
I have an 05 Caravan and lately I've noticed water puddling on floor near the passenger seat floor and next to the passenger seat between the door and seat. I poked a stick in the ac drain and it seemed clear and there is water still coming out the drain where it's supposed to. I don't get it. It's clean water, not coolant.
Also, tonight out of the blue the passenger power window started intermittently not working.......related?
Thanks-
Chuck

the window... well.. all i can say.. its a caravan thing...
my passenger side window finally went.. and the drivers side works when it wants too.. people get a laugh outta me when im at a stop light tryin to get my window down.. as far as the water in the floorboards.. it could be lots of things.. did you just have a window replaced? has it been raining? could be leaking in from the firewall .. theres many situations it could be..

^thanks. It's not related to rain. I think it's condensation from the ac...what else could it be? I pulled the carpet up and it's drenched down there but I can't tell how the water got there.
If you own a 2004-06 Pacifica or 2001-06 Town & Country, Caravan, or Voyager built before Dec 16, 2005, Chrysler has issued a TSB fix (24-001-006 Rev A) for a wet carpet caused by A/C condensation leaking from the housing.
First, verify that the wet carpet is caused by leaking condensate. Water may run back along the outside of the drain tube and onto the passenger side carpet. If you discover that’s the source of your leak, follow this procedure:
Disconnect the battery and disconnect the inlet air temperature sensor. Loosen the clamp that holds the inlet hose to the throttle body. You can leave the other end attached to the air cleaner housing because you’re going to remove the entire air cleaner assembly. Check the HVAC drain tube to make sure it isn’t clogged. Install O ring #68001994AA onto the drain tube. Make sure the O ring sits ¼†onto the keyway above the top of the HVAC drain and past the slot in the bottom of the HVAC drain. Reinstall the parts you removed.

I'd be interested in seeing the pics and more details. I followed the TSB specs which didn't solve my problem. I did discover that the AC leaks condensate ONLY when I use the the recirculation feature.

here it is. I used GE silicone 2. the bad news is when I went to take a pic I noticed it's leaking a little again. I might try and redo it.
