I have 2.4L dodge caravan 97 model theres a problem of my fuel gauge, if i close the door the fuel gauge will go down from half tank to 1/8, and i am scared the fuel gauge is not telling me the truth. may i know what is the fuel ratio?

 

I don't know if this will work on a 97 but if you have a digital odometer you can hold the trip reset buttin in for about 5-10 seconds and that will run a self diagnosis and recallibrate your instrament panel

 

there's two button trip and reset which button i a going to push? am i going to start the engine before i am going to hold the button?

 

the button nearest the digital odometer should be the one do it with the ignition off
