Hi,

I bought a 2007 dodge Caravan a few months ago. I got a good deal but the van was very basically equipped (I knew and am ok with it :-) ) Doorlock, electric windows, cruise have been installed.

The only thing I do not like is that there is no trunk opener either with remote or from inside the van. I need to get out of the van and use the key :-(.

Is there a way to fit something to be able to at least open the trunk while I am inside the van ? (something like a wire or a selenoid). If it is possible, can you point me in the right direction for what parts will be needed and perhaps have an approximative cost?

If the job is too hard to do for a DIY'er, can you suggest a place to have it done. For the moment, I am located near Ft Lauderdale, fl. I go bac to Montreal, Qc in may.
