New owner and new to your forum - power steering hose blew out last week when I started the van. I live in Northern Ontario and my dealer claims there are no hoses available in Ontario, that they have been ordered from th US and that it may be a while till they arrive. My van has only 5,200 KM on it. The dealer jury-rigged a replacement part to get me by. Anyone else?

 

Those parts should be easily available. Look in your owners manual for the 1-800 number for customer service and call them. We have plenty of those parts in the plant and the vendor has spares on hand if needed. Your dealer should have been able to order the replacement and gotten it the next day, two at most.
