Default Rather urgent brake help please!

My husband was trying to replace the back brakes on our 2002 Grand Caravan. He couldn't get the old rotors off. After several hours he gave up and just replaced the pads. Now there is a ticking noise coming from the back end. Any help is greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!!!

could be a backing plate rubbing or a part came off inside the rotor for the parking brake.

Maybe he bent one of the rotors trying to get them off?

I've had problems getting rotors off too, but have always managed with the proper amount of a rust desolver (like liquid wrench) and judicious use of a large hammer.
