ok i have an 88 caravan. i have been working at it to get redy for the inspection buti have noticed that every now and then the radio and the the lighter and the cupholder light will all stop working usually for a day or two. any advice.

 

It sounds like a ground wire issue. Check the wire harness for the radio and see if there are any slices into the wiring and if it is touching somewhere under the dash.
