I have Dodge Grand Caravan 3.8L fully loaded. And...

I have a problem. After three months without driving I had to go to do a business and of course battery was dead. I replaced it and it didn't start either. I used a cable boosters.

Before I strted car I turned probably trhee or more times keys in the ignition ewhile my door was open I'm not sure what was the position off my keys when we start the car but since then when I press brake pedal alarm sounds and Alarm set blinks. It takes about a minute and it turns off. I had to disconnect the horn. Car runs normally, but every time I press the brake pedal alarm sounds. I know beause solenoid on the horn clicks.

Help please.

Are you sure it's the solenoid for the horn you hear click ?
or is it the Park Lock for the shifter you hear click.

I can hear a click every time I press the brake pedal also but it's the Park Lock that is clicking.

Car was running, I depressed braking pedal and horn stared to sound while carengine running,the only difference betweenpanic alarm and this one is thatpanic alarmhas faster intervals. "Alarm set" lightblinsondashboard as well. All goes for one minute or so, then it stops, and myalarmLEDindicator blinks like crazy for three seconds. After that everythinggoes to normal stateuntil I depress brake pedal again. WhenI do that it starts all over again in the same patern.

So,I removed a fuse for horn from enginefuse box,but right now I hear clicking sound of solenoid in my compartment fuse box in the same intervals as horn sounded. Sound like the solenoid which drives horn sound is turning on and off.

Any help? How do I reset the alarm?
