i have 02 caravan (sport trim) and the headlights go on whenever you start it (not the driving headlights) and when you push the E brake in they turn off, my question is....is there a fuse or switch i can remove so the stay off when the car is on but wont disable my driving lights or high beams?

These sound like daytime running lights, and they are controlled by the BCM (body control module).

They were standard on Canadian cars and fleet vehicles. Some owners who desired them had the BCM memory set at the dealer to enable the DRLs.

So, if you are not in Canada (where it is required by law) inquire at your dealer about "turning them off"...it can only be done with the dealer's diagnostic computer. [&o]

 

Check the fuse box, IPM, under the hood next to the battery for a bad fuse. My van did the same thing and they found it was a bad fuse.
