Hi Guys,

Is there a bulb that goes into the overhead console that illuminates the area around the cupholders. Dealer shows no parts listed. There must be something as it is impossible to see some of heating controls at night as the switches have no backlighting.

 

The climate controls on my 2002 ARE backlit.

There is no bulb on the overhead, nor do the heater control lamps throw any light onto the cupholders.

 

There is a green LED in the overhead console. There's a hole near the buttons, the LED is located inside that hole. This sole light illumates the cup holder area. If your LED is dead, You must remove the console to replace it. By the way, it is not plug and play. I am almost certain that the dealer does not have it in stock.

Let me know if your LED is dead. I bought a few overhead consoles and I can sell you the LED you need.
