Default 01 3.3l backfires through the intake under WOT

We got the wiring harness repaired on this van, now it starts and runs MUCH better, A lot more stable, and consistant. The only problem that we are having now is that it backfires through the intake at WOT. With the engine in Neutral, if you flip the Throttle body quickly, it'll pop in the intake, if you are gentle with it, it runs great... Driving, it runs right until you start driving it agressively. Even in the cab, you can hear the pop in the engine bay, and feel the acceleration loss.

As a side note, There was also some fluid in the plugs for the injectors. Slightly brown, thought maybe it was dielectric oil, so we left it in there. I'm now guessing that it shouldn't be there...

What exactly did you repair on the harness? If it was any of the wires for the TPS of manifld sensors, they might be out of calibration because of the change in wire resistance from the repairs.

Andy, We repaired the upper harness that goes to all 6 injectors, the coil, and the MAP sensor. On Sunday we finally got a CEL code, It was misfire on Cyl #3, We checked the plug wires, and the cap had come off of the wire, so we bought a new set. This didn't change anything. Monday we still got the same code. We swapped the Fuel injector and the spark plug with two different Cylinders, and our Misfire code followed the spark plug (Keep in mind that these plugs are less than a month old...) Pulled the plug and sure enough it was cracked down both sides. Replaced the plugs (all of them) yesterday and now it's running like a TOP!

Now just have to fix all the other crap that's wrong with it.
