so did the older chevy trucks, and GMCs. Most new ones are 6 bolt, but 98 and older (if they are 5 bolt) are 5x127.
and GMC safari/Chevy Astro 2002 and older.......

Default Wheels found at Blackburns

I bought steel wheels at Blackburn's Wheels and Hubcaps for my Wife's 08' caravan last Friday. Go to the web site, then call the phone # listed. The wheels were not up on the web site as of Friday. Price was $70. I mounted without sensors.

I bought a 2008 grand caravan just today! Have already discovered the winter tire problem.

I'm told that steel rims create problems with the wireless sending units (in the valve stems).

If using without sensors, do you get a trouble light and 'bong'?

I tried it today and my Kia wheels do NOT fit the 2008 Caravan and I rechecked Detroit wheel and tire and they list OEM wheels for the 2008 Caravan and gives the following specs;
16" alloy !6 x 6.5 5 114 40 $185. They are not correct.

And as Timbit said;
Quote
Wheel Size: 16 x 6.5, with a 5 on 5 bolt pattern, which is equivalent to a 5 on 127 bolt pattern. (Stock aluminum mag wheel. Also available 16" steel wheels, and optional 17" mag wheel).

And to Quote

Vwomein,
I tried checking the offset of the Chevy and Pacifica wheels online and didn't have much luck. Would you check your book and see if any of the 15" wheels have somewhere around the 40 mm offset that the Caravan has. I sure would like to use the brand new 15" studded snows that I bought for the Kia last year and can tape out the tpms light.
Thanks,
Smiley

I had the same question. See page 2 of this thread where Timbit has it explained. There is really no trouble with running steel wheels without TPMS. Timbit's issues convinced me to save the $$ and the headaches.

I decided to go with a Blizzak DMZ3 tire in 215/70/16 which is close enough in diameter to the 225/65/17 wheels that came on our SXT. Do not have them on yet but hope they are suitable. It was the size the tire shop recommended due to the odd 225/65/16 size that is stock on these vans.
