Exclamation 2000 Dodge caravan dies driving down the road

I have heard a squealing sound for a few days, which has been getting louder and more prominent. The RPMs seem to be higher going down the road as well during this time, after getting above 60mph. There was a sound - sort of like a lawn mower motor.. then, coming home from a doc appt, i was going about 60-65mph, and the van dies. I coast to the side of the road and try to start it, and it turns over but will not crank.

I was told it was either the timing or the fly wheel. Any idea which of these are what's wrong with my van? Any other ideas of what it can be? I know the van has gas and oil, so it wasnt anything to do with those parts of it haha

Thanks for all help!!!

Default anyone know?

I also need to know where the timing belt is on the engine, so i can see if it is that part that is messed up. It's a 4cyl 2.4L automatic
