The van now has 130K on it and still no sign of the moaning, groaning, whining, etc. It went through one of the worst winters we have seen since 1994 here in Northern AL, and no issues at all. The biggest problem where the steeing would seem to lockup and not turn also has not returned.

If you have the same problems I did, this is the route to try first - simple, cheap and quick.
