could anybody tell me how hard it is to do a water pump replacement on a 04 Grand Caravan SXT 3.8Liter I'm have a leak at the water pump housing.

The unbolting is easy, but if I am not mistaken the pum on your van is on the firewall side, (as opposed to my '96 which is on the radiator side) and the issue is getting clearance to remove the pump.
