1995 Caravan - Front Fender removal
Hello, my wife's 1995 Caravn has a doro that needs adjusting. She opened the door into a strong wind - the door was pulled too far open (nto sure how much, I wasn't there).
After this happened, it now hangs slightly lower than it should. Too low to only adjust the striker in the jamb so I need to try to adjust the hinges where they bolt to the body. When closed the door has almost no gap at the bottom (between the door and fender) and too much gap at the top near the mirror. My assumption is that I can loosen the hinge bolts and gently jack up the bottom of the door (gentley and slightly) and then tighten the door hiinge bolts.
I have two questions:
- these hinges are adjustable in this manner, correct?
- where can I find a good diagram of the front fender removal?
I have the Chiltons for this vehicle and leaves much to be desired in the body/exterior seciton - answers neither of the above nor displays any picture at all of the moutning. It appears from looking I have to take the front bumper covering partially off if not all the way off. Is this the case?
Thanks for ANY help in advance?
Robert
