I have the Caravan Sport SE with the 3.3L Engine. The radiator fan sometimes will continue to run after I cut the engine off.

The last 20 times I have cranked the engine and cut it off the fan shuts off also. What would be the problem to troubleshoot.

We have been driving in the city and the engine has not been running hot?

Need your thoughts and solutions.

 

Very common issue. You need a new radiator fan relay. I used to replace them all the time at the Dodge dealer I used to work at. We used to stock a ton of these.

 

If you don't care about it being automatic you can wire the fan to a toggle switch in the cabin, that way you can just turn it on or off yourself.
