How do i splice in a trailer wiring harness?

Pretty much what i said, its a Grand Caravan, 1997, and the harness i have is just a splice in style, no clips or anything. Any help?

On my 2005 caravan I removed driver side rear plastic covers (right behind the tail light) to get to the cables.
