I have a 2000 caravan 2.4 the trans was acting up for awhile then p0743 code came up, lost res and 3rd so i knew it was shot. I replaced the trans and then cleared the computer but the light wont go out and the codes still there.

I have a hand held Mac scanner im not sure if i need something special to reset this code any help would be great. I have till the end of may to fix this as my inspection is due then and they failed me for the light being on.

 

Only a shop with a scanner for the tranny computer can clear those codes. All you can do is reset the ECM,but the TCM will send out the fault at a certain time or mileage and causeyou to see the TCM codes again.
