Fuel Gauge Problem
I just was told by my wife that the gas gauge seemed to be acting wierd on our '06 GC (83K+). Thought at first it might be the sending unit. Drove into work tonight(nightshifter) and sure enough the gauge statred off at about 3/8 of a tank and then proceeded to drop. 10 miles in on my 17 mile communte the gauge read E, tank light on, DTE 0(on the quasi-computer) but van still running strong. Got to work cycled the power on the key, no engine run, and the gauge went to full
.
Anyway, anyone have any idea how much a stealer(dealer) or repair shop would charge for this???? No to get into much detail but I just mover my family after a job transfer, it being winter and the weather is crappy right now, not to mention that I'm not sure where all of my tools are(jack, stands, etc) are after the movers boxed everthing up

Just had the pump and filter changed on my 96 a few weeks ago - essentially the same. $310 parts and labor at a local shop. I bought the parts, they installed them. As I understand a flex fuel pump is more expensive then a standard pump.
