2001 gas tank removal
Hi there,
Being an old school mechanic, I get frustrated at these plastic connectors.
I'm taking off the gas tank and just one more hose to disconnect. It's the breather hose, I believe, and it's at the rearmost of the tank at the top and no disconnect on the tank but the hose goes thru the frame to a connector that leads to another hose to under the filler cap.
It's this connector by the frame and left rear shock that I can't seem to disconnect. I know it's going be called a quick or EZ connect or something, but I've fiddled with it for an hour trying to disconnect it and am near busting it up...hence this note to the forum.
I'm getting too old for this! My gast tank is hanging with just the floor jack and this last hose supporting it.
Can anyone tell me how to disconnect this, please?
Thanks,
Gordon
