OK i have a 2001 dodge caravan sport and the battery wnet dead on it. Then i jump started it. It was working fine for a while then all of a sudden that whole dash went dead nothing worked on it. I went to dage dealership and they said it was the body control module, and they wanted almost 1100 for it. Well i went online and looked it up and alot of people was saying that if you take the dash out and resolder the chips on it that it would work.

So i tired it and for about 2 weeks it worked great. but now its acting up and when i use my single light it goes dead again, then after driving for a while the dash comes back on. The battery was tested and is good and i even took my battery out of my truck and used it on the van and still did the same thing. I like at the dash cluster again and the solder looks like its still like i left it.

What is makeing the dash die out when i use my single light its the only time i have a problem with it
I was have some currsion with the battery but i got the battery cleaner thing with the wire bursh and cleaned everything off and used a base to disolve the the green stuff but it ate part of the posative battery terminal not the post the thing the slides over the post. The front part is missing a crunk out of it but is still on and drawning power. Can take pics of it later and post it, if its allowed on the forums.

Please help i have been working on this for almost a month now and just want my van working completely again.
