Is there such thing for 1996-2000 grand caravan as a 3 seater 2nd row?
I like to have 8 seaters. Maybe 2+3+3. I know other maker have 3 seaters on 2nd row, the venture, i think. It has 2+3+2.

Another word do they sell 3 seaters 2nd row?

 

I've never seen one.
I think the 3 pass seat will fit in the tracks for the 2nd row but then the seat is too wide and you can't easily get to the 3 rd row through the side doors

 

Are you refering to the 3rd row seats for 2nd row or there is such a 3 seaters for 2nd row?

Anyway, that's a good idea, i will try to see if the 3rd row seats will fit into the 2nd row.

 

You can do it in the 91's, but like he said, you have to crawl over seats to get to the rear one.

 

You can just roll the rear seat up and clamp it down, If you can find another 3rd row seat you would have your wish, But, I found that with the 3rd row seat in the 2nd row it is not easy to access the back. By folding the seat back forward and using the slide aduster to slide the seat full forward it gives you some room to get in. My van has the quad seating so sometimes when we need the space in the back we move the rear seat to the mid position as it is easier to pull the quad seats out -vs- the rear seat that weighs a ton.

 

Well, I finally have the time to try it out. Yes it works wonderfully. With the 3rd seats act as the 2nd seats slide up and folded, there's enuff room to get into the back. I would have to say much easier than getting into one of those sport cars like Camaro and TransAm.
Now, off to JunkYard for 3rd row seats.

 

Ok, now another question. 1996-2000 are the same style. Would the previous model prior to 1996 seats fit 1996 and later?

 

Can't say for sure but I doubt they will fit.
Completly different body style and they were prone to pop out during collision.

 

Confirmed. Just bought 2000 3rd row to replace 2nd row . I now have 8 passenger Grand Caravan. 2 X 3 X 3. Shoot if they make front benchseat like the old days, I'll have a 9 passenger VAN.

with some handy fabrication skills, u could build some brackets to put a bench in the front too.
