Grand Caravan 2008 AC
I have dodge grand caravan 2008, my AC is blowing relatively warm air (12 Celsius), after checking LO side presume it shows (50 PSI) at (1500 RPM) is it over charged and if I will check the HI side , what will be the pressure in PSI finally any additional information will be good
Thanks
Thanks
Being a 2008 Any warranty left?
have you added any refridgerant?
You always need the HIGH and low side readings.
With 50psi (static) I suspect there is more info to add.
Is the CEL on? some issues will disable A/C
When the A/C is selected- can you hear the comp. engage also will the eng fans come on when A/C selected?

many many thanks for the reply
let us say 32 to 35 PSI at ambient +80F
I am wondering is it at idling speed of the engine (800 RPM) or the reading should be checked at a higher engine idling say (1500 RPM)
in case the ambient temp would be +90F, what will be the readings
Thanks again

you will need both readings both HI and LOW
Vabear suggested a 32-35 psi WITH compressor running- will fluctate as comp cycles
A ball park figure for the HIGH is 2.5x ambient...ie 90deg= 225 high side.
always want low as vabear mentioned.
you are correct readings at @1500rpm
