ok Im stumped. I have a '92 Grand caravan SE with the 3.3 engine. HOW in the world to I get to the back 3 spark plugs without having to dismantle the top half of the motor???
Remove the windshield washer tub. It's a heckofalot easier than removing the upper intake plenum. Takes about 15 makes. Makes changing rear plugs a piece of cake.
ok any other suggestions? removing the wiper reservior gave me no extra room.
He doesn't mean the reservoir. I just finished my '99. Your '92 may not be the same but it may give you some clues. Remove the wipers and the tray that the mechanism sits in. Remove the alternator - you may get away with swivelling it backwards but I was changing the belt tensioner at the same time. Remove the air resonator and the right hand engine to upper intake manifold support. You just have to loosen the manifold end and swivel it out of the way. You can now get to the back three with very little effort.
