Stuck in Park
1995 Grand Caravan AWD - Stuck in Park.
1st time problem - never happened before. The van had been sitting for about 6-7 months.
Heard I should check the brake light switch. Looked for the switch above the brake pedal? Only connection I see there is a speed sensor I believe. Brake lights are working. When the vehicle is off the brake pedal is stiff. When I start it the brake pedal goes to the floor and I hear a click sound and the brake light comes on. If I pump the brakes they maintain stiffness only briefly.
Anyone have any thoughts? Much appreciated.
