Anyone have the instructions for programming the 2009 Grand Caravan keys? The dealer wants $40 and I know it only takes a minute to diy.

 

You have to have both keys that came with the van when you bought it, or two programmed keys, in order to program another key yourself, otherwise you're stuck going to the dealership. I think 8 keys max per vehicle.

 

If you only have one key you need a star scanner and a pin code from the dealer. call the dealer parts, give the your vin and they will give you the pin. a lot of independent shops have oem scanners ( like me ) and they can help you out. if you have two keys put 1 in turn on for ten sec turn off stick #2 key in turn on and turn off then the 3rd key all with in ten seconds.
