As the subject says looking for diy for pulling the engine. Its a 2.4.

1. Can you pull the engine from the top or do you need to drop it from the bottom.
2. Is there anything special we should know. I done a few engines in dodge neons so Im sure its similar.

shop manuals have step-by-step directions, why re-invent the wheels and write out all that has already been written.


some people say out the bottom with the trans and all, some say out the top.

I prefer the top because I see no reason to take out more than necessary and if you don't have a hoist, it's a lot harder to fanagle the assembly out the bottom

oh, and btw, be a bit more patient on demanding answers. you only let 8hrs pass. you can't always expect instant gratification for people to solve your problems.
