Will these wheels fit
I have a 2008 dodge grand caravan. I have a set of winter tires for it and want to stop swapping them off the aluminum rims that came with it. I found a set of 16 inch wheels off a 99 grand caravan that are steel. Will they fit? is the bolt pattern the same, is the backspacing correct? Any help would be appreciated.

the answer is only about a dozen posts just below the one you posted

in summary NO it will not fit!
I should clarify, I already have 16 inch wheels. The tires are exactly the same size, winters and all seasons. I am just trying to figure out if the steel rim 16inch off a 99 caravan will fit my 2008 grand caravan that has 16 inch wheels. if not, why?
The answer is in that post. yes 08 came with 16" wheels but I clearly stated the bolt pattern is different. If you are willing to become self reliant try a web site like www.tirerack.com they list bolt pattern sizes have a look. I doubt if I'm wrong since I recently encountered this exact situation first had with a customer's 08 with 16" wheels and they wanted to put on 16" 2000 steel rims. the BOLT patterns are different. If you still don't want to believe what I'm saying, then get the wheels and see if they fit yourself. if the don't you learned that they don't if they do, then you learned I have no clue WTF I'm talking about.
