My 2001 grand caravan ignition will not catch every time I try to turn on the moter, sometimes it takes 10 to 20 trys!!! Then the power to the heater control unit and the compass display failed and I have no control of the air (ie: defrost,floor etc.) and there is no power to the rear window defroster,A/C or intake air(recirc). Then I noticed that the hand brake/emergency brake light was on as well as the ABS light. Also the traction control is noted as off.
Are all these things related to one module or more??

 

sounds like a bad ground wire at the neg post the small wire to the terminal

 

Does it not turn over at all? Or does it crank but doesn't start?
