OK, '96 3.3 caravan and tapping the starter relay worked for one week and now we are back to, nothing when attempting to start, or a partial rotation and a sound as if the battery can't hack the start (battery is one year old and checks out good as does alternator) or a start. SOO, I am off to relalce the starter as some have suggested. Of course it is a +15 F today and the snow and ice are still around therefore it will be awhile before I do this work (car is a back up so I am good that way). i will let you know the results.
