I have the SXT Caravan 2007. It is equipped with the rear audio function where the kids can listen to the movie through head phones and the adults can listen to the radio up front.

I have the remote that was supplied from the dealer. I can see the headphone on the radio dash. I press the button to turn the rear audio radio and it does not activate. I have followed the instructions to the letter.

any ideas fellas?
is there a way to activate it through the radio itself.
Any one else come across this problem?

any thoughts are appreciated.

If your trying to listen to the radio while the kids watch a movie with the headphones on, you start the movie and then push the am/fm key on the radio and the radio should play from the speakers while the movie continues on the headphones

 

i was given this fancy remote control that was suppose to do that. It doesnt seem to do anything, but the red battery light does blink when pressing buttons.

I will try and press the am fm button like you said and report result when i get home from work.

the remote is for the rear passengers to control the movie functions, not meant for the driver.

 

I dont think that is going to work. The remote has an array of options. I dont think it is just for the backseat passengers. Ill take a picture of it and post it. It even has the picture of the headsets on it. When i press it, it is suppose to make a icon of the headsets flash up on the radio display, yet nothing happens.

What i think is the dealer gave me the wrong remote. Im going to see him on monday.
