I have an 02 Caravan (3.3, swb, no rear heat/air), and I noticed the other day that when I turned on the defroster, it smelled funny inside the car (and the windshield fogged up with a greasy film). Then I noticed the next morning that the carpet on the driver's side was damp, and there's a big puddle of coolant under the car (under the driver's side door)....so Im thinking the heater core needs an O-ring or something.

I replaced an o-ring on a 97 (whole dash had to come apart), but never on a newer 01+ van. So I could use some help. Maybe there's a way that I can get at it without taking the entire dash apart?? I wasn't unable to find a manual for it...but I need to get this done asap.

Any help would be great.

 

Nobody?? well at least the fine folks @ turbododgeforums (who have a 16th the membership ) were on the ball with this one. Got it out with ease...more so than the vans I've done in the past.
