Older model with low mileage or newer model with high mileage?
Thanks for the follow-up. After some more research, I have nixed the '01 with low mileage from my list of potential buys... It seemed to be one of the hardest decisions I made since I really liked the car - but the IIHS report rated the '01 "poor" for its crash ratings. This is just something I can't overlook. On the other hand, new models rated better, so I am reviewing the market for any other potential buys.
I will keep yall posted on the outcome.
Thank you everyone for the great advice!

I understand how difficult it can be to find a quality used car. I tell you what. You can have my spare vehicle for low book.
Kelly Classic Blue book is around $10k... oh yeah and it need a little body work. Most of it will buff out. This car has been put through extensive crash testing.
