ok i have a 4.0l SXT caravan and i beleive it takes 10W30. what oil ya guys recommend? i checked my oil level on not on flat surface \ had it as lower then min. think when they prep the van it had half full. its medium brownage to black. got 2k on it and thinking doing a oil change early. think too bad to do it too early? i think u need 5ltrs for this vehicle.

 

5.5qts of 10w-30 oil. Brand is up to you, I use what's cheap

No crime in an early change, get all of that assembly crap out of there.

 

ok thanks for input, i prob use mobile 1 synthetic after the first free oil change dealer gives me, paid for it already, 135 in a value package i missed on the buying vehicle says first oil change free and every 5th one becomes free. ok right. i think i going to follow my maintanance on vehicle like me doing it keeping receipts. No harm in that right. im a hvac mechanic and it caint be to hard to do brake service,trans fluid, and such.

as long i got receipts on that i changed it be ok right?
