kinda bad shape to be in. well i bought this 97 caravan at auction and drove from ok to oh no problem got back and started jumping like fuel filter.replaced ran great till got home would not stay running bought a meter and got dtc p0122. p0120 replaced one then the other map then tp.ran really fast now have code p1496??? what the you know. only other thing is all dash lights seem too throb slightly? bad computer.if somebody out there is bored and wants to help a very shade tree dude not mech. please help thanks

 

Welcome to the forum, we'll see what we can do to help. P0122 is TPS voltage low, not sure what P0120 is. P1496 is 5v output supply to low. First I'll give you a wiring diagram for the TPS and then a diagram that shows where the 5v all goes to. First disconnect the sensor and check the 5v output with a meter. If good, connect it and check it backprobing to make sure it is still good.





I'm assuming 3.3L engine.

 

yes 3.3 the thing ran fine but fast when repl the tps.then started running like crap and got a new code p1496. so am going to print your diagram and go check v
