So driving along with the family and my Mom in the country at 60 mph hear a tapping then a bang looked in my mirror and a piece of plastic blew off my 2008 SXT van!!!!

Hammer on the brakes stop turn around and there on the road is the passenger side black plastic filler behind the sliding door and body lying on the ground?????

Looks like the sticky tape did not hold hope the dealer helps out as the bumper to bumper warranty is still there thank gawd...

Well the Dealer replaced the moulding great service no fuss no muss a pleasant experience.

They didn't say but after inspecting the piece myself I really think the previous owner hooked it somehow and tried ti reattach it with adhesive tape as it is pretty secure now.
