Default Fuel Millage -96 Caravan

hey , just looking for a comparison of the fuel millage you in your van ,
Highway and city don't really matter.
I haven't figured out the millage on mine yet ,
but we went on a road trip the other day filled before we left .
we came home and the gas light had just came in .
told to the tank was 420Km (yes Kilometers ) so about 260miles,
this is mostly highway.

I dont know the mileage per gallon, but I do know that I get slightly over 400 miles on mine, by the tankfull. (but mine is completely stripped of seats and other weight inside)

this was before the major tune up. so i cant wait to see what small differences come out of it (once i get it running//currently has shut down issues while driving :/ !)

Got it out of the shop last week, or so.

havent emptied the tank yet, but because some issues with the tank were fixed, it now holds what it should (would only hold gas up to the highest point of tank....anything going into the filler tube/pipe, would pour everywhere below)

finally completely filled it up to the very top of the filler neck (yehhhhhh!) so far I have traveled 250 miles,(using the trip guage) and its mildly above the halfway mark.. will report back when tank is empty for mileage.

What's your secret?!? 27hwy 23city!!!!
What type of oil do you use?
Gas or Ethehol blend?

My Turtle Van (96 GC Bubbletop 3.3) has the mileage meter.
I get 20.8 Eth- 22.4 Gas/ hwy, 16.2 Eth- 18.1 Gas/ city.

I run Castrol High Mileage 10w40.
The van tells me when she needs an oil change, the mileage falls off the mark.

I got the mileage meter out of a Town & Country in the salvage yard, not sure if it would wire into my van.
Sure enough, wires were all there. Plug & Play.
The Wife's 97 GC doesn't have the harness for a meter so I'll have to tap into the PCM to make it work.

it's all in how we drive. I don't use a/c, drive at or below speed limit, no excess baggage in the vehicle no kids so no rear seats. 5w30 el cheapo engine oil. 86 octane w/o any ethanol. city driving for me is 2 stop lights. that's all we got around here. oh and the tire brand makes a huge difference i keep tires at 36psi.
