the cluster goes dead while the engine is running and if I start the engine with the dead cluster, it will only start for a few seconds and then dies ( wont continue to run) and if I give the top dashboard a big shake cluster will start to working again and continue to work. Replace the cluster already and still happening. What could be the problem?

My 97 did something similar.
Mine was a bad ignition switch.

Try jiggling the key when it does it.

It might help. Other than that.
It sounds like wiring.
Grounds on Chrysler are very finnicky.
