Default 2001 Grand Caravan A/C Hissing Noise

Hi all. Can anyone tell me what would cause the A/C to stop blowing ice cold air (was working great 4 days ago) and today it blows warm air and getting a hissing noise. The compressor is turning on and the hissing noise sounds like it's coming from the center part of the dashboard right behind the 3 air vents. Almost sounds like a missing vacuum hose or something. I can't hear it from outside the car, maybe engine noise is masking it. I had the evaporator coil replaced last year and a very stubborn water leak from the coil into the car repaired after numerous trips to the dealer. I notice no oil puddling out side the car under the drip hose either. This really stinks because the A/C was working fantastic! Also, I have a slight order of something coming out of the vents. It's not overbearing though. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks to all in advance for your help.

It's hissing because it is low on freon. Your hearing the h-valve metering the freon that is left. Sorry to say but you have another leak somewhere.

Thanks for the bad new Tizzy! I was able to get a dealer look at it this afternoon. They told me the condenser is bad. They recharged the system and it's working fine now but they ordered the part and should be in and installed next week. Keeping my fingers closed that this is going to fix the problem. Will keep all updated.

Condenser is pretty common. I'm suprised they don't stock one.
