Just took the Caravan on a 1000 mile trip. The airbag light kept coming on and going off at pretty regular intervals, something it's never done before. Now for the question.....Just before the trip, I had the radio out to hook up XM radio. Could this possibly have anything to do with the airbag light? I disconnected the battery for a few hours, hoping this would reset something, but no success. When it's first started, the light goes out, but as you drive it comes on and goes out every so often. Is this something that can be reset without dealing with the dealer? Thanks in advance for any help.

 

Probably had nothing to do with what you did. Someone will have to pull codes from the air bag controller to find the issue. Most likely the clock spring or the pretensioners.
