Just purchased a 2010 (ended up trading in my 2008 due to the "unrecognized" brake issues) and the back up camera is sooo dark. Is there a way to lighten it up? I have gone into the screen settings and made them bright but the minute I put the car in reverse, the screen goes dark (like you are looking at the screen with sunglasses on).

Any ideas?? I didn't have any problems with the camera in my 2008.

We just had out original 2010 radio replaced with a new one under warranty and we have the same problem (our original radio was perfect....the display I mean). The dealer showed us a technical bulletin dated the end of May from Chrysler that newer radios have been updated to dim the reverse display as people complained they were too bright. Now they are useless. They are supposed to be working on a fix but I am thinking of contacting Chrysler to complain.
