Default shaky steering wheel

What would make your steering wheel slighty shake back and forth while braking off the highway?

Do lifetime brake pads make rotors warp? i just had them put on about6 months ago as well as replaced the rotors. Seems to me that i had this problem with a 97 caravan when i put lifetime brake pads on it.

if you bought the cheapest new rotors, they are made in china with substandard metal. I gave up on buying the new cheap rotors they warp and go out of parallel.

but besides rotors, loose front end parts can also cause a shaky wheel when braking and some other things, but brakes are always the first look.

do you know what type of pads, semi-metalic will wear out rotors a bit quicker then ceramics,

I just put on wagner thermo quiet cermaic life time warrenty pads from advanceauto on my jeep and wagner rotors about 2months ago, not even a scratch on the rotors yet,

of course it could have been a bad set of rotors, or did the garage "turn the rotors"?
