aftermarket.... it actually runs better when i plug the vacuum line to egr...?
I notice that If you plug the vacuum that goes "from" the plastic switch mechanism to the egr valve itself (outgoing)and draw a vacuum on the tube that goes from the bottom of the throttlebody to the switch (incoming) it leaks? does that sound right?
this is driving me nuts... and its a short trip

I guess I'm not sure what year we are dealing with but this is the valve I assume we have.......

The valve is run electrically, there is no vacuum line. The tube coming off the valve and going to the intake is where the exhaust gas is sent back into the intake. If you take that tube off without the valve applied, you should not be able to blow through it. If you can, the pintle is not sealing and the valve is bad.

no its a 2001 with the 3.3. the egr has 2 parts the first is a plastic assy which has a vaccuum in from the motor, a vac out to the egr valve itself and an exhaust into from the exhaust pipe just under the egr valve, and a 2 prong switch that Im told is to prove the egr valve is working.
Im hoping this attachment made it thru
