My check engine light went on and the people at Pep Boys, gave me the code TCM P0700 as the problem saying that is related to the transmission.
Later I went to a transmission shop and they said it needs to be rebuild for 900 dlls.
Does anybody know what that code means???
Please any help or advice.

I think what our unfriendly neigorhood d-bag wants to know is what year, engine, transmission do you have and do you have any driveability issues or just a light on.

Sorry, you are right I'm missing all that info. (First time on a forum).

The light went on like 10 days ago and the Van lost some power since then.
It happened 1 day after I replaced the battery. That is the only symptom.

It's a 2001, and is a V6 201, 3.3 lt... that's all I know.

P0700 is a code in the PCM that just informs you that you have codes in the transmission controller. You will need to access a scan tool to pull codes from the trans controller. When you get them, let us know what they are and we can go from there.
