ok picked up a oil filter for the dodge caravan sxt 4.0l damm 12.00$cdn part #mo-339. woundering how much are you guys paying for oem?

sapporo, well was thinking using oem filter but i prob end up going to a napa gold. i believe they gave me filter as metric mm 22 but napa lists 2 one 3/4-16 threads and the 22mm x 1.5. this is for a 4.0l

 

so why stop with Napa, carquest, Mobil 1, Wix, and more are all fine quality filters.

isn't that just typical for chrysler to have 2 possibilites for the same engine. fortunately it is impossible to mix them up 22mm is way to big for 3/4. so looks like you need to remove your filter, grab a micrometer or caliper and measure. then put a big note under the hood in paint marker which size you need for future reference.

 

its possible to have 2 vehicles same yrs with diff threads on?
