Default Tail light

Hi
I have been trying to unplug my taillights on my 2002 caravan. I cannot get them unplugged.
I removed the little red strip and didn't seem to have any affect on it. If anyone can help me on this little problem I would appreciate it. I want to install a trailer harness. Thanks! Silas

you mean remove the bulbs, or actually remove the harness which enters the lens housing?

there may be a clip that is part of the harness, that clips over the bulb base...i know that my headlights have soemthing like that. you have to pinch the end of it closest to the wires...thats all that i can figure without actually seeing it.

I installed an adapter into my left tailight(2001 sport), which allowed me to use that as my towing licht connector for all functions. It goes in series with the circuit when you unplug the light connector. There is a little red clip that slides to the side to allow you to unplug the wiring harness from the light. It can be alittle difficult to mov but it does.
