Lightbulb 4th Generation Caravan to Manual Conversion

Need some help on obtaining information towards the conversion of a fourth generation 2004 Dodge caravan 3.3 ltr v6 to a manual drive transmission. If anyone could be of help with any information you have to this project it would be greatly appreciated.

it's really easy if you have enough mechanical aptitude. just bolt in a manual trans from a dodge stratus 2.7. the only hard part will be getting a computer that is compatible.

In Austria they bolted 5-speeds to the 'Chrysler Voyager' for European markets until '08, but only to the four cylinder gas and diesel motors.

doesn't really answer the question about putting a manual behind a 3.3.

I'd sure like to get my hands on a UK turbo diesel stick van with right drive.

I realize that this is a very old thread but I was wondering if you ever followed through with the conversion to a manual transmission. I'm thinking of doing the same thing with a 97 Grand Caravan and curious what kind of problems you ran into. I lived in Germany in the mid 90s and a large percentage of the Caravans on the road there are manual transmission. Wish that was an option here.
